Doug Allen - PlayRight Productions Leadership Team - (Burl Sanders and Cotton Patch Ensemble) - Doug serves as the Pastor of Worship Arts at Dunwoody Community Church. He lived and worked in L.A. from 1985-1993 as a studio musician and was signed to the Warner Brothers record label with the band Sun King. He currently sings with the Atlanta based Christian group Sons of Mercy. In the acting realm, he is lovingly known as Kyle McGillicutty, a 12-year-old nerd, in the Dunwoody Community Church Children's Production called B.I.G. (Believers in God). His love for bringing the arts to a Christian setting is demonstrated by his portrayal of Aslan in The Chronicles of Narnia - The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe both at Mount Paran Church of God and Dunwoody Community Church. His most treasured role was that of Jesus Christ in Mount Paran Church of God's Easter Passion Play. He has also appeared in The Honeymooners (Ralph Cramden) in several Dinner Theatre productions at Dunwoody Community Church and in Phantom of the Opera (Phantom) in A Broadway Showcase. Doug has appeared as the patriarch of the Sanders family in Smoke on the Mountain since 2006. Doug lives in Dunwoody with his wife Sherry and their two children Eli and Bella Rose.
